Tuensang, February 10 (MExN): A six-day Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY) was held on the topic ‘Bee Keeping’ at Hakchang village, Tuensang from February 3 to 9.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the importance of modern technical skills for the state's youth to secure lucrative job opportunities nationally and internationally. He inaugurated a Construction Skill Training Centre in Dhemaji district, a collaboration between the Assam government and Larsen & Toubro, aiming to enhance skills and connect trainees with modern construction practices. Sarma highlighted the need for Assam's youth to capitalize on high-paying jobs by acquiring new-age technical skills, including solar technology.
