Leonid Zayats said: “A republican seminar is taking place at premises of OAO Slutsk Sugar Plant ahead of the campaign to harvest and process sugar beet. Quite a good harvest of sugar beet is forming up right now. We hope to gather in more sweet root vegetables than we did last year.”
Leonid Zayats said: “The sugar industry is a steady donor that replenishes the country's budget. It contributed Br115 million last year. Apart from that, Br29 million was transferred to the national development fund."
Aleksandr Turchin said: “The president's instruction to strike a balance between cost and quality of animal husbandry facilities was given after the president visited Slutsk District where we demonstrated roughly the same complex and determined its cost."
