The European Parliament adopted on April 29 its negotiating position on the proposal for a certificate to reaffirm the right to free movement in Europe during the Covid-19 pandemic, it said in a statement. Bulgaria is expecting 8.8 million foreign tourists in May to October this year, double the number in 2020, outgoing Tourism Minister Mariana Nikolova said in an interview with Nova Televizia on April 28. The deaths of 194 people in Bulgaria who had tested positive for Covid-19 were registered in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll linked to the disease to 16 101, according to the April 27 report by the national information system.
