Former prime minister Scott Morrison has become the butt of many jokes after the news broke that he had appointed himself to several portfolios in secret, during his time as leader of Australia.
The former prime minister, who remains the MP for Cook, has not had this much time on his hands since entering government as Immigration Minister in 2013.
Morrison’s office defended the former PM’s posts this morning: “He knows the issues are important, but at the same time he was happy to join in on the joke”.
