Ravens Host Bears Saturday

The red hot Hillcrest Academy boys basketball team is back in action Saturday when they welcome the Danville Bears to Hillcrest Union in Kalona. The Ravens are back over .500 on the season at 5-4 overall and 4-3 in league play, thanks to a three game winning streak out of the Christmas break. So far this week the Ravens have made victims of Morningstar Academy, Lone Tree, and most recently Winfield-Mt. Union Friday 38-36 in come from behind fashion on the strength of 19 points from Eli Ours. For the year, Ours leads the Ravens, averaging 16 points per game, fourth most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference North Division.
