People prep for ice storm buying road salt, propane

covid cases : 20 శాతానికిపైగా పెరిగిన కోవిడ్‌ కేసులు

న్యూఢిల్లీ : కరోనా వ్యాప్తి మళ్లీ విజృంభిస్తోంది. గడచిన 24 గంటల్లో 46,164 కొత్త కరోనా కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. సోమవారం, మంగళవారంతో పోలిస్తే.. బుధవారం నమోదైన కేసులు 20 శాతం మేర పెరిగాయని కేంద్ర ఆరోగ్య మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ పేర్కొంది. ఇక మొత్తం కరోనా కేసుల సంఖ్య 3.25 కోట్లకి చేరింది. బుధవారం ఒక్కరోజే 607 మంది కరోనాతో మరణించారు. దీంతో మొత్తం మరణాల సంఖ్య 4.36 లక్షలకి చేరింది. కేరళలో ఇటీవల జరిగిన ఓనం వేడుకల ద్వారా కరోనా వ్యాప్తి మరింత పెరుగుతోంది. ఆ రాష్ట్రంలో గడచిన 24 గంటల్లో 31,445 కొత్త కరోనా కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి.
