reporter: we ve learned from multiple sources that the person is ricky shiffer. we are trying to find out what kind of connection he has with right-wing extremist groups. what happened was at the cincinnati field office of the fbi. he walked in there, according to our sources, armed with an ar-15 style rifle and nail gun and tried to breach that office. an alarm was sounded. he was pursued by law enforcement not just on the federal side but local and state as well. there was a standoff for several hours in a rural area of ohio which ended when law enforcement tried to have nonlethal ways of bringing him in, tried to negotiate with him, but then he was killed in the standoff when none of that was working. like you said, we have come across a user account on donald trump s media site, truth social, bearing the same name and authorities have not confirmed it is his account but we have one source telling josh campbell there is a government i.d. matching the same picture. ....
