Premium Content Subscriber only A teenager who allegedly caused the death of a young woman after she fell from his ute in Springvale has been slapped with another charge from police. It's alleged the 23-year-old Linthorpe woman was on the back of the ute travelling west along Springvale Road about 10.30pm on Friday, 29km from Dalby, when she fell out and was fatally injured. Police allege the 19-year-old Cooroy man was driving the ute at the time of the incident. Roadwork pain ahead MOTORISTS will be faced with more road closures this week as work continues on the Mordialloc Freeway project. Centre Dandenong Road between Boundary and Tootal roads will close from 8pm Friday 26 February to 5am Monday 1 March. Beams will be lifted into place for the freeway bridge over the road. While the road is closed, detours will be in place via Old Dandenong Road or Lower Dandenong Road. COVID exposure sites updated VICTORIA’S 28-day run without COVID-19 recorded in the community was broken on 3 February. A hotel quarantine worker tested positive to COVID-19 after last working at the Grand Hyatt on 29 January. Following the 26-year-old Noble Park man’s positive test the Department of Health updated its list of exposure sites, including locations in Keysborough.  One of the exposure sites was the Aces Sporting Club driving range on the corner of Springvale Road and Hutton Road, Keysborough, between 10pm and 11.15pm 30 January.
