Healthbarn launches $1 million food program kicks off in North Jersey
RIDGEWOOD — Eleven days after receiving a $1 million grant to employ local restaurants in feeding Bergen County's hungry, the HealthBarn Foundation launched its first meal deliveries Monday. Director Stacey Antine said 10 restaurants, including the Chestnut Deli, were engaged in sending a total of 910 meals to various locations, including the Franciscan Community Development Center in Fairview.
