YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS. In the recent period a tense tactical situation is created at the Armenian-Iranian state border section due to the increased attempts of drug trafficking (hashish, methamphetamine, heroin) from Iran to Armenia, the Border Guards of the Russian Federal Security Service told Lurer news service.
According to the FSB’s Border Guard Directorate, there have been violations of the state border by members of extremist and terrorist organizations
According to the State Border Committee, a total of 308 Ukrainians arrived in Belarus over the past 24 hours, including 262 in transit through Poland, 43 through Lithuania, and three through Latvia.
“Belarusian checkpoints are operating in a routine mode,” the committee said.
