To raise their premiums if, in fact, there is a cap put on the amount of money that could be awarded because what's happening is the insurance companies are benefiting all the way. there's a cap on premiums, and then they go and hammer the physicians with increasingly high premiums. so there's got to be something that protects doctors in there from the insurance companies increasing premiums at a local level or at a state level if there's going to be any kind of cap. right now i don't think that the insurance companies and their supporters in congress are ready to accept anything like that. me...
