The governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, has declared an end to sit-at-home in the state effective from Monday, June 5, 2023, saying such orders were restricting creativity, entrepreneurship, and productivity in the state.
The Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah on Thursday, appealed to President Bola Tinubu to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to hasten Nigeria’s healing. Mbah made the appeal while listing out decisions reached at the end of his first security council meeting with the heads of all security agencies in the state at the Lion Building, Enugu.
Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State has declared an end to Monday’s sit-at-home in the state effective from June 5, saying such orders restricts creativity, entrepreneurship, and productivity in the state. He, however, expressed government’s readiness to engage in dialogue with people, who had genuine grievances towards bringing lasting peace and security to Enugu State.
