President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday said that Made in India COVID-19 vaccines are playing an important role in making the world free from the pandemic.
President Kovind said approximately Rs 1 lakh crore has been sanctioned for 1,000 schemes to boost the agriculture sector in India.
Agriculture and its allied sectors have been the least impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and is expected to grow by 3.9 per cent in 2021-22 after registering 3.6 per cent expansion in the previous year, according to the Economic Survey released on Monday.
