Media: Aircraft of Polish Airline LOT Will Stop Flights to Belarus
AirBaltic has already refused to fly over the Belarusian airspace. The Polish publication RMF FM reports that the Polish government will ban the national air carrier LOT Polish Airlines from entering the airspace of Belarus. A decision on this issue will be made today or tomorrow. At the moment, LOT has only two routes over the territory of Belarus: to Minsk and Moscow. Earlier, the Latvian company airBaltic decided that its planes would fly around the Belarusian airspace. Several countries call on the International Civil Aviation Organization to ban flights over the territory of Belarus.
