Though vanilla and chocolate are the usual favourites, it was the red velvet cake in the shape of a heart that had the maximum number of takers on the day of love. The red colour makes it all the more ideal for the day. “Most of the orders I received for the red velvet cake were from middle-aged men and women, who wanted them for their spouses. It was heartening to realise that love has no age barrier,” Sweta Mishra, a home baker, said.
