A major clash erupted between Punjab farmers and police personnel at the state border after Punjab farmers made an effort to enter Haryana. This direct confrontation lasted for three hours continuously in which police fired tear shells multiple times nearly around 50 in this period. Over 15 farmers sustained injuries in this incident and around 8 police personnel too received injuries who are under treatment.
