Sturgis Journal Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education on Monday examined and discussed several agenda items for its next board meeting, scheduled for April 19. The Sturgis Public Schools Board of Education on Monday approved the reinstatement of a school resource officer, effective in the fall.

Sturgis Journal Sturgis Public Schools will offer an “academic summer camp” for students entering first through ninth grade during the 2021-22 school year.  The camp is intended to help students who require extra assistance in learning, particularly gaps caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and shifted learning experiences.
