The first Saudi relief airplane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived in Sudan on Tuesday, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The plane landed at Port Sudan International Airport as part of the Saudi relief airlift. The airlift is in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to aid the people of Sudan. The first relief airplane carried 10 tons of food, shelter, and medical supplies.

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi condemned on Tuesday the Israeli escalation in the occupied Palestinian Territories and the storming of the city of Nablus, reported the Saudi Press Agency. He expressed his strong condemnation of the violence, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities to end the Israeli occupation and stop its aggressive practices. The Israeli violations, he said, are obstructing political solutions based on the Arab Peace Initiative and undermining international peace efforts.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz invited on Wednesday Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to attend the upcoming Arab League summit that will be held in Saudi Arabia on May 19. Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi delivered the invitation to Assad during a meeting with the president in Damascus. Ambassador Al-Sudairi conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Assad and their wishes for security and stability for the government and people of Syria.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz invited on Wednesday the rulers of Qatar and Oman to the Arab League summit that will be hosted by Jeddah on May 19. Saudi Ambassador to Doha Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to hand him a written message from King Salman. In addition to the invite, the message tackled the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Qatar and ways to bolster and develop them. King Salman sent a similar message to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Guatemala on Wednesday. The minister is heading the Kingdom's delegation to the ninth summit of Caribbean heads of state. He will also take part in the ministerial meeting of the Caribbean countries. Prince Faisal was received at La Aurora International Airport by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Roberto Alfredo Urzua, Saudi Ambassador to Mexico Haitham Al-Maliki and Saudi Ambassador to Cuba Faisal Al-Harbi.
