Scheduled, these are annual exercises scheduled for march/april. they were going to do that simply for south korea, to focus their effort os on making sure e olympics were successful. the u.s. didn't have a lot to do with it. the big question going forward is that these military exercises are scheduled to start in april. will the u.s. tone them down, scale them down? and crucially, will the u.s. stay on the same negotiating page, not just at their south korean counterparts, but also their japanese counterparts. they've always wanted to have a three-part approach though this. we'll see if there...
