BBMP seeks ‘donations’ from visitors

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (
BBMP) head office premises has been a site of protest by various organisations and for various causes.
However, a unique and peculiar procession was taken out here on Wednesday. Some members of BBMP Employees’ Association took out a procession seeking donations from
visitors.
Dr Suresh Rudrappa, the BBMP health officer for
Malleswaram and
Dasarahalli towards his subordinates. He is not only embarrassing the BBMP staff but also claiming that he got posting at the Palike after spending a lot of money,’’ said Amruth Raj, president of BBMP Employees’ Association.
