Into the waters of the gulf of mexico here, and what they're working to do now is put on a new, more efficient cap. this new cap called top hat number 10 is designed to seal that leak completely and then direct that oil to surface vessels so essentially all of it is contained and none of is leaking into the waters here. now they started that yesterday. bp says it will take about four to seven days to complete. now there is more oil gushing into the water now that the initial cap has been removed. that's temporary. they hope as soon as they get this new cap on they won't have any oil gushing in...
