Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Varinderpal Singh (52) died of Covid-19 on Sunday. While he was on a ventilator for the past one month, he succumbed to the virus on Sunday at 3.48 am at a private hospital in Ludhiana. The deceased took charge of Shahkot in July last year.
