Police are investigating a complaint the driver of a ute swerved on to the wrong lane and drove through a flock of protected seagulls at a popular Northland beach.
Self-employed Whangārei accountant Lisa Crowley was out walking on Beach Rd in Onerahi on Thursday afternoon when she saw the ute swerve to the right, mow through the red-billed gulls, and continue driving.
