OHSU employees and students can share 'experiences and observations' for investigation on harass

Oregon Health & Science University leaders told students and employees Thursday that they will be able to share their experiences and observations as part of an external investigation of the teaching hospital’s culture regarding harassment and retaliation claims.
The investigation, led by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and former federal prosecutor Nancy Kestenbaum, was announced last week. The investigation will look into allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and racism.
It comes about a month after a female employee filed a federal lawsuit against a doctor at OHSU for sexual assault. The suit includes the institution itself and other employees. The main defendant in the case is Jason Campbell, a former anesthesiology resident at OHSU who was also known as “TikTok Doc” for posting dance videos that went viral.

An Oregon Health & Science University doctor accused of sexual battery is the plaintiff — not the defendant — in a new lawsuit after he pre-emptively counter-sued the woman who says she was abused by him.
Potential litigation prepared by a lawyer for the 33-year-old Washington County woman says she and OHSU anesthesiologist Andrew Davoodian, 31, connected on the dating app Bumble and first met in person for a walk on a trail along the Southwest Portland waterfront on Oct. 11, 2018.
Davoodian invited the woman into his nearby apartment afterward, but she declined, per the document. Davoodian suggested they visit the building's rooftop instead, but when she followed him out of the elevator into the unfamiliar building they were at his apartment, where the woman assumed Davoodian was merely briefly retrieving something, the document alleges.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A doctor who developed a social media following for posting TikTok videos dancing in his scrubs has been hit with a $45 million sexual assault lawsuit by a former colleague and social worker in Portland who says he sent inappropriate text messages and touched her inappropriately, according to court papers and reports.
The lawsuit was filed late Friday in Portland against Dr. Jason Campbell and his former employer, Oregon Health & Science University, according to court papers shared online, The Oregonian reported.
The civil action alleges that Campbell harassed a female social worker last year at Portland’s Veterans Affairs Medical Center, including through unwanted touching and sending sexually charged text messages.
