Discontent is brewing within the BJP and TMC in West Bengal over candidate selections for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. TMC leaders like Mausam Benazir Noor and Babun Banerjee have expressed dissatisfaction over denied tickets, while BJP's Arjun Singh returned to the party after being denied a ticket. Both parties downplayed the dissent, with the TMC citing disappointment rather than discontent. The TMC dropped seven incumbents and nominated 26 fresh faces, while the BJP aims to win over 35 seats in the state.
