American economy, and it's not ready just yet to pull back on that. a very telling that the fed in its forecast, it always gives these forecasts for what it expected for the economy and the jobless rate to do, downgrading their expectations for a growth. the fed saying it sees 2% to 3% economic growth this year. down a little bit from what they thought. and 2% to 4% next year. that's a downgrade on the expectations of growth from the fed. it would like to see a target of 6.5% for the unemployment rate. ben bernanke and the folks on the federal reserve are not going to give into the taper talk ...
