Cumbernauld band releases 'Yes Sir, I can Boogie' cover for charity

Mark Oneil
A BAND are set to go head-to-head with The Fratellis as they battle to find out who has the best version of Scotland fan favourite “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie”.
The Dirty Kilts have released a more upbeat version of the song after The Fratellis covered the Baccara classic on Chris Evans’s Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio back in March.
All income raised from the recording will go to the Tartan Army Children’s Charity. Band member Mark O’Neil said: “We couldn’t believe it when it was announced that the Fratellis had launched their own rendition and although we have great respect for them, we were a bit gutted.
