Tata Dholera Plant: Frank Huang, chairman of PSMC, told ET that the first semiconductor chip from the new plant being set up by the Tata Group and Taiwan’s Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) in Gujarat’s Dholera, will be ready to roll out by the end of 2026.
The Rs 91,000-crore semiconductor fabrication unit in Dholera, a joint venture between Tata Electronics and PSMC, boasts a manufacturing capacity of up to 50,000 wafers per month.
