Decarbonizing UK IT - is technology climate's angel or its demon?

Toss a coin and which version of Britain do you see: the one that looks ahead to the future, or the one obsessed with the long tail of its history? It suggests that while Britain makes occasional pronouncements about the climate crisis or new technologies, its leader sees these things as just another excuse for a jape.
