Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari emphasised that the uncertain geopolitical environment underscores the necessity for a strong military, affirming that the IAF will continue to play a pivotal role in projecting India's military capabilities in the region. Chaudhari also noted that the IAF has spared no effort to ensure the successful implementation of the Agnipath scheme.
The legendary Russian-origin MiG-21 jets are set to participate for the last time at the annual Air Force Day parade on October 8, with the IAF rolling out the process to phase out the remaining three squadrons of the aircraft.
