Fox’s back-to-back talent show telecasts of “The Masked Singer’s” fifth season debut at 8 p.m. followed by the series premiere of “Game of Talents” with host Wayne Brady at 9 p.m. outperformed on Wednesday primetime fast-affiliate numbers.
“The Masked Singer” received a rating of 1.2 in the adults ages 18-49 demographic and 5.42 million viewers, and “Game of Talents” obtained a 0.7 in the key demo and 3.10 million viewers. In comparison with the performance of the Big 4 network’s primetime programming and the Spanish-language network broadcasts between 8 and 11 p.m., Fox was number one in the key demo on March 10, obtaining a 1.0 rating and 4.26 million viewers. NBC was atypically runner-up in the key demo for the evening, obtaining a 0.9 rating, but still triumphed over Fox in viewers with 6.65 million.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – The return of Season 20 of NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice,” featuring celebrity coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton, knocked the Monday primetime crown off of “The Bachelor’s” head, dropping the long-running ABC show in ranks after several weeks of being at the top.

“The Voice” drew a 1.1 in the Nielsen Live+Same Day adults 18-49 key demographic rankings and 7.74 million viewers. NBC also premiered the sci-fi drama series “Debris” at 10 p.m. The show, starring Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz and Scroobius Pip, garnered a 0.6 in the key demo and 4.36 million viewers.

Though it wasn’t one of the top programs of Tuesday evening according to Nielsen Live+Same Day fast affiliate numbers (that triumph goes to an original of NBC’s “This Is Us” and to an encore of CBS’ “NCIS”), The CW’s series debut of “Superman & Lois” at 8 p.m. and the “Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope” special both scored substantial primetime numbers compared to the network’s typical ages 18-49 performance. “Superman & Lois” beamed 1.71 million viewers to its premiere telecast and drew a rating of 0.3 in the key demo. The subsequent special also obtained a 0.3 and drew 1.50 million viewers.

As usual, NBC’s “Chicago” crossover trio, which consists of the three dramas “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago PD,” took up the top three slots in Wednesday, Feb. 17’s overnight primetime numbers.
The fast affiliate ratings from Nielsen+Live Same Day indicate that a new episode of the third installment of executive producer Dick Wolf’s franchise, “Chicago Med,” drew a solid 0.9 in the key adults 18-49 demo and approximately 7.38 million viewers at 8 p.m. Brother series “Chicago Fire” was runnerup to the medical drama in the key demo, which ran at 9 p.m. and drew a 0.9 rating and 7.09 million viewers. Closing out the NBC trio at 10 p.m. was a new episode of “Chicago P.D.,” which earned a 0.8 in the 18-49 demographic and 5.72 million viewers.

Monday’s primetime crown winner was, for the sixth time in a row, ABC’s long-running dating game show “The Bachelor.” A new episode of Matt James’ season featuring Bachelor Nation favorites Tyler Cameron and Heather Martin came out at the top of Nielsen’s Live+Same Day fast affiliate rankings, with a 1.3 in the adults 18-49 demographic and approximately 5.2 million viewers.
After ABC’s triumphant 8 to 10 p.m. window, the network dropped a rerun of “The Good Doctor.”

In the last two weeks, they pulled the same triumph (and in the same order), dominating total viewers and all key demos among the Big 4 networks.
