The CDC has announced that while Covid-19 cases in nursing homes have dropped significantly, outbreaks of the virus still do occur in some facilities, partly because not enough workers have been vaccinated. NBC News’ Yasmin Vossoughian breaks down why workers are getting vaccinated a lower rate and whether nursing homes can mandate vaccines among staff.

The Centers for Disease Control are releasing new guidelines for summer camps. The agency says there's no need for masking or social distancing if everyone at the camp is vaccinated.
The new guidance is for day camps and overnight camps.
The CDC says kids at summer camps can ditch the masks outdoors with some exceptions.
