Monday, 24 April 2023 - Residents of Kisii Estate in Thika rescued a newborn baby stashed in a gunny bag and thrown into a pool of flood water. The little angel was rushed to Thika Level 5 hospital for treatment and the matter was reported to Makongeni police station. See photos. The Kenyan DAILY POST.
The ranger called police who picked up the body to the mortuary.
Several people were feared dead while others sustained injuries in the incident.
Rayan Coach bus was ferrying passengers from Nairobi to Garissa when it overturned in Thika, leaving several people dead. The rescue mission by KDF is ongoing.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bus was speeding at the time of the accident.
