SL will miss 5 key players due to injury for the second test

Saturday, 02 January 2021 - 9:38
The participation of five key players in the Sri Lanka team for the second Test match against South Africa starting tomorrow is uncertain.
Suranga Lakmal, Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara and Dinesh Chandimal are all almost certain to miss Sri Lanka's second Test against South Africa, due to injury. Dhananjaya de Silva had already been confirmed to be out of contention.
"What the doctor says is that when you're tired, the first area that feels the strain is the groin," according to team manager Ashantha de Mel. "I have never been on a tour with so many injuries. We have not played a Test match since February, and that must have had an effect."
