Richie McDonald, vocalist in 1990s and 2000s country hitmaking group Lonestar, says he's exiting the band.  McDonald confirmed his departure in a statement Thursday. Part of the band's original lineup that formed in the early 1990s, McDonald sang on massive Lonestar hits "Amazed," "I'm Already There" and "Not A Day Goes By."  He previously took a hiatus from the band in 2008 before rejoining in 2011.  In announcing his departure, McDonald joins trio The Frontmen of Country full-time.
