Pacific island travel bubble with Australia: Guide to the best islands

Australia hasn't felt so isolated from the rest of the world since the jet airliner was invented 70 years ago. But at least we have one thing in our favour: we're right next door to paradise. And while Australia has been congratulating itself for its management of COVID-19, rightly so to a large degree, island nations in the South Pacific have even better pandemic records.
Some neighbouring nations, such as the Cook Islands and Niue, have recorded zero COVID-19 cases while like Samoa, Vanuatu and the Solomons have recorded barely a handful, all in quarantine. Before the world was ravaged by COVID-19, Samoa was a popular tropical holiday destination for New Zealanders wanting a break from day-to-day life.
The close relationship between the two countries and their populations made it one of the most popular island destinations for flying Kiwis.
With Samoa more than likely to be included in a Pacific Island travel bubble at some point hopefully soon, a getaway there could be on the cards before many other countries on our wishlists.
Here's four spots that should be on your Samoa post-COVID-19 bucket list:
