Arkansas parents hopeful lawsuit will challenge law banning mask mandates in public schools

Some parents in Arkansas have concerns about sending their kids back to school with COVID-19 cases surging in the state, especially with a law banning mask mandates at public schools.
Mars held a Zoom meeting Thursday with parents from across the state to talk about his plans moving forward.
Carmen Edington, a parent from Conway, attended the meeting and said she just wants her two kids to be safe at school this year.
"To me, it seems like Trent Garner got to enter all of Arkansas' children into the Hunger Games, and I don't want my kids in that death contest," Edington said.
