WEATHER REPORT AND TIDES It'll be a cloudy start to the week as the weather bureau predicts a 40 per cent chance of rain for the Coast today. There's also the possibility of a thunderstorm during the morning and afternoon. Noosa Heads will reach the highest temperature on 25C, while Maroochydore, Caloundra and Nambour hit 24C and Maleny 21C. High tide was at 1.15am at 1.81m and low tide will be at 8.21am at 0.63m. Only 6mm of rain is expected but the wet weather should ramp up on Friday and over the weekend. Maleny will reach a top of 21C while a majority of the region reaches 24C. Low tide was at 3.41am at 0.35m and high tide will be at 9.27am at 1.61m. The next low tide is scheduled for 3.29pm at 0.19m and high tide will reach 2.09m at 10.10pm. Games on Field 1 were livestreamed with students from St John’s College, Siena College, St Teresa’s College and Nambour State College all hitting the field. In the boys grand final, St Teresa’s managed to pull off an upset victory over an undefeated St John’s after the game was drawn 0-0 at full-time and descended into penalty shootouts. St Teresa’s nailed all five of their goals, but on the very last penalty shot St John’s Lochlan Chant skied the ball over the net to lose the game.
