According to news reports, many of the roads in Ooty are witnessing serpentine traffic pile up. A report by the Times of India (TOI) stated that over the past few weeks, the hill town has been witnessing more than 10,000 footfalls daily, a number expected to rise due to the upcoming summer festival in the first week of May.
