Four suspects plead not guilty in Rapid City Rose Inn murder
KNBN NewsCenter1 May 13, 2021 RAPID CITY, S.D. — Four suspects in the murder of 20-year-old Jesus Vance all pleaded not guilty on Thursday. Travis Nelson, Gilbert Reyna, William Long, and Tracy Laughlin are all charged with Aiding and Abetting First-Degree Murder. The charge carries a possible death sentence or life in prison. Vance was found shot to death in a Rose Inn motel room April 9. All four are also charged with Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Assault, Second-Degree Kidnapping, and a number of drug-related counts. Their next court appearance is scheduled for June 9.
