Aberdeen man sentenced for being a felon in possession of a firearm
An Aberdeen man convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm was sentenced to nearly six years in prison, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney's office. Darrell Two Hearts, 41, was found guilty following a jury trial at the Aberdeen Federal Courthouse on Oct. 13. He was sentenced to 71 months in prison, three years of supervised release and must pay a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund. Charges stem from an indictment filed in July, which was in connection to an incident on April 25 following  Two Hearts' arrest in Aberdeen.
