India Business News: Airbus partners with Tata Group to set up India’s first Helicopter Final Assembly Line. The partnership will establish a Final Assembly Line (FAL) for helicopters in India, boosting the 'Make in India' initiative. The FAL will produce Airbus' best-selling H125 helicopter for India and neighboring countries. The facility will be set up by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Airbus Helicopters. The first 'Made in India' H125s are expected to be delivered in 2026.

This will be India’s first helicopter final assembly line to be set up by private sector players.

New Delhi: Airbus and the Tata Group have inked a deal to manufacture the H125 single-engine helicopters from the European aircraft maker and establish a Final Assembly Line (FAL) for commercial purposes in Vadodara, Gujarat.

'In terms of market share, we aim to double it by 2028 in both segments—15 per cent in the domestic and 20 per cent in short-haul international.'
