Hundreds of hospital workers at UnityPoint Health Fort Dodge will benefit from a pay hike announced by the health care company last week.
UnityPoint Health is raising its minimum pay rate from $13 per hour to $15 per hour. Leah Glasgo, president and CEO of UnityPoint Health Fort Dodge, said it was an important step to recognize the importance of frontline workers.
“We are grateful to be able to recognize our team members in this way,” Glasgo said. “We know that their financial health contributes to their overall health and well-being.
