Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar emphasized that the recent protest by Congress legislators and MPs from Karnataka in Delhi was not just a show of strength but a representation of the people's voice. The protest aimed to highlight alleged injustices by the Centre in tax devolution and grants-in-aid, amounting to a loss of Rs 1,87,000 crore for the state.
When questioned as to what will be the next course of action if things continue the same way, Shivakumar said, "we will fight it out, we will take it to the streets of Karnataka"
