A government-run luxury bus collided with a container truck in Pune, leaving one dead and six injured in the wee hours of Monday. The bus was travelling from Pandharpur to Pune.

At least five people were killed after a fire broke out in a cloth godown in Pune’s Uruli Devachi village. The fire was reported at around 5 am when the workers were asleep in a room above the shop. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was bought under control. The cause of fire is still unknown.
