Uttarakhand CM Rawat focuses on health, rural infrastructure in ₹57,400 crore budget for 2021-22


The budget makes a provision of ₹3,319.63 crore for medical and family welfare department
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Thursday presented a budget of ₹57,400.32 crore for 2021-22 fiscal in the Assembly here with emphasis on health, rural infrastructure, employment generation and agriculture.
Tabling the budget in the post-lunch session of the Assembly, the Chief Minister said it will help realise the aspirations of people. The budget contains the vision of a self-reliant Uttarakhand which is essential to the realisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a self-reliant India, he said.
The budget makes a provision of ₹3,319.63 crore for medical and family welfare department, ₹1,511.29 crore for PWD, ₹954.75 crore for PM Gram Sadak Yojana, ₹695.16 crore for important infrastructure schemes and ₹385.27 crore for annual maintenance and renovation of State roads, Mr. Rawat said.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India] March 4 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Thursday presented the state Budget for 2021-22 in the Assembly. The budget projected the total expenditure at Rs 57,400 crores.
The CM said that the Budget is based on the vision of 'Aatmanirbhar Uttarakhand' and will help in fulfilling the aspirations of people.
In the 2021-22 Budget, the Uttarakhand government allocates Rs 87.56 crores for Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana in its efforts to double farmers' income by 2022. It also allocated Rs 20 crores for Mukhyamantri Rajya Krishi Yojna.

Uttarakhand government seeks suggestions from people for state budget

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 11 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has urged people to give their suggestions for the state budget.
Rawat said that every section of the society will be kept in mind while finalising the budget and people should give their suggestions under 'Aapka Budget, Aapke Sujhav' (Your budget, your suggestions) initiative.
People can give their suggestions for the 2021-22 budget till January 20. These can be given on the website of the Directorate of Fiscal Planning and Resources. (ANI)
