Kirstie Alley Sells Los Feliz Villa for $7.8 Million

Kirstie Alley has parted with her Los Feliz estate after more than two decades.
The actress sold her six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in an off-market sale for $7.8 million, represented by real estate firm Deasy Penner Podley. The 6,958-square-foot house was constructed in 1931 by architect Armand Monaco, who built the Italianate villa-style home for restaurateur and hotelier Victor Hugo Aleidis, whose Victor Hugo restaurant in downtown Los Angeles was a popular destination during the 1920s and '30s.
The property sits on nearly an acre of land featuring a swimming pool, a pool house, grottos and a turtle pond, and Alley kept ring-tailed lemurs as pets in a shaded cage on the front lawn. Other touches include broad terraces, Corinthian columns, a circular entrance gallery and an antique carved marble fireplace, ending with a long gated driveway.

Kirstie Alley secured a huge profit from her six-bedroom estate in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, after reaching an agreement with a buyer this week.
The “Look Who’s Talking” star sold the property for $7.8 million, which is way more than the $2.998 million she spent to purchase it back in 2000, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Represented by Deasy Penner Podley, the mansion was sold in an off-market sale. But it’s important to note that when Alley listed the property in late 2018, she was asking for $11.97 million. In May 2019, she decided to lower the price to $10.75 million.
