PMC claims completion of 50-km roads damaged during monsoon 2022

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) claims to have completed 50 km of roads damaged during the last monsoon, but still has more work to do after the rainy season. Pune's Kamala Nehru Hospital to get 100 additional beds

Pune Municipal Corporation will upgrade Kamala Nehru Hospital to 400 beds with 24/7 medical services. 60 healthcare staff will be appointed, including doctors and nurses. A modular operation theatre will be set up and round-the-clock emergency and casualty services will be available. The hospital will also have an in-house central sterile services department. The civic body has also approved the addition of 40 more beds at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital and the establishment of a pediatric ICU. Additional housekeeping staff will be appointed to improve cleanliness and hygiene.
