Visa celebrates the story behind the numbers driving success for women in business and sport with US$500,000 in small business grants.
Visa, Worldwide FIFA Women’s Football Partner, has announced a first-ever extension of the coveted Visa Player of the Match athlete award to support women-owned small businesses (WSMB) with $500,000 in total grant funding across the 64 matches and potentially 32 qualifying countries.
Visa will sponsor 64 grants that will be awarded to women-owned small businesses during the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
With just over 20 days to go until the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, excitement is building for the largest global sporting event staged in Australia since the landmark Sydney Olympics in 2000.
