Mohammed Kudus: Ghana star wins first career title at Ajax
The Ghanaian was not the only African who celebrated Ajax's win on Sunday.
Cote d'Ivoire striker Sebastien Haller, who transferred from West Ham United in January, featured for the entire duration of the game.
The Morocco trio of right-back Noussair Mazraoui, winger Oussama Idrissi and attacker Zakaria Labyad also watched from the bench, just as Burkina Faso striker Lassina Traore and Dutch U21 striker of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey.
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana was, however, completely missing from the matchday squad as he continues to serve a Uefa ban for a failed drug test.
Last summer, Kudus joined Ajax on a five-year contract from Danish Nordsjaelland, the deal reportedly worth €9 million.

'I want to surpass Drogba' - Chelsea loanee Broja on becoming Europe's top-scoring teenage striker
Broja has nine goals and two assists in 20 league appearances thus far and has already matched Zlatan Ibrahimovic's total goal tally from his first season with Ajax, while he is likely to better Luis Suarez's total of 10 league goals that he scored for Groningen in his only season there before leaving for stardom at Ajax.
"Nine goals and two assists is good but I am never satisfied," Broja tells
Goal in an exclusive interview ahead of Tuesday's KNVB Beker semi-final against VVV-Venlo. "I want to get more goals and assists to keep tallying them up.
"I have played over 1000 minutes and I have 11 goal contributions. It is not bad but I want more goals and assists. I want to do more."

Matthew Amoah: Former Ghana striker responds to Borussia Dortmund failure tag
"My time in Dortmund was very hard at the beginning. I was at the Africa Cup and came back with a knee injury, so I struggled. I had already picked up the injury in my last game for Vitesse," Amoah told Goal.
"After I signed, I wanted to play quickly, so I started training early and injured myself again - on the same knee. So I travelled to Egypt battered, where the problems came back. The directors of course were not pleased, but Bert van Marwijk told me that I should take my time.
"When van Marwijk left, my problems really started. The people in charge had me removed from the squad because it was van Marwijk who had signed me. They didn't want to use a player who was explicitly wanted and brought in by him.

New Vitus Vitesse EVO launched for 2021 | Specs, weights, prices

Vitesse Vitesse EVO: stiffer everywhere and lighter too
The Vitus name was once associated with lugged and bonded aluminium frames, but the Vitesse EVO is distinctly modern, with a slender carbon frameset that uses aero tube profiles and features those now-ubiquitous dropped seatstays.
Vitus says the new Vitesse EVO is the result of two years of development work in collaboration with the pro team, and it’s 10 per cent lighter than its predecessor, with a painted medium frame weighing a claimed 910g and a fork coming in at 370g.
Vitus has opted for refined cabling but hasn’t gone fully integrated.

'He could lose his career' - Former Chelsea wonderkid Musonda struggling to realise potential
Now, he is the middle of his second loan spell at Vitesse, but he has been restricted to just four Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch side – all as a substitute.
Chelsea had been unsurprisingly disappointed with Musonda's lack of game time in Scotland and carefully considered the numerous offers they received for the Belgian's services. In the end, they felt he would be best served by a move to their feeder club.
He has managed three further substitute appearances this term but the sad reality is that he has spent more time at Cobham Training Centre than at his loan club, with his mother driving him in and out for treatment on what Chelsea now fear is a chronic knee injury.

The Moroccan’s second-half strike at the Mandemakers Stadium ended his run of seven games without a goal for his new team
Oussama Tannane scored his first SBV Vitesse goal in Sunday’s 2-1 league victory at RKC Waalwijk.
Tannane converted a 77th-minute penalty to hand Leonid Slutsky’s men their second away victory this season.
Mali international Nouha Dicko powered the visitors ahead after 17 minutes, but Fred Grim's men equalised through Clint Leemans in the 53rd minute – with Julian Lelieveld getting his marching orders for serious foul play.
Despite the visitors being at a numerical disadvantage, they secured maximum points through the Morocco international.
